About Us

We founded Learnabi in 2017 after seeing firsthand how traditional education fails many students. While tutoring in the South Bronx, we recognized the need for a more personalized approach — one that puts students, not schools, at the center.

With a 16:1 student-to-teacher ratio and 2.1 million dropouts annually, the gap is real. Our app lets learners of all ages create and watch short educational videos at their own pace, in a supportive community built around inclusion and belonging.

When COVID-19 accelerated the shift to digital learning, we turned it into an opportunity. Students can post 2-minute videos, build profiles, and connect through comments, messages, and group chats — covering everything from Math to cooking.
